Histopathological examination was done to observe the type and morphology of these lesions. <strong>Results: </strong>90% of the patients suffered from benign prostatic hyperplasia while prevalence of carcinoma of prostate in TURP specimens was 5%. <strong>Conclusion: </strong>Routine histopathological examination of TURP specimen is helpful in diagnosing the undiagnosed cancer.</p&gt;}, number={1}, journal={Asian Journal of Medical Research}, author={Kumar, Dhirendra and Lal, Prabhat Kumar and Chaudhary, Pawan Kumar and Singh, R V N}, year={2019}, month={Mar.}, pages={PT05-PT07} }
